Title: MINE PRODUCTION GEOLOGIST
Location: Voskhod Chrome Project, Aktobe Region, Kazakhstan
Summary Description of Duties: Day to day supervision of ore mining activities, training of local staff, geotechnical mapping and implementation of ground support regimes, weekly and monthly reporting, reconciliations against quoted resources, liaison with metallurgical department to optimise feed blend, stockpile management, reserve-resource optimisation and covering for Chief Geologist.
Required Qualifications: Five years post graduate experience preferably in underground hard rock mining, exposure to sub-level caving operations or large tonnage long hole stoping, geotechnical mapping, computer literate (Surpac preferable), good communication skills and the ability to work in remote locations.
