Oriel Resources plc (AIM:ORI, TSX:ORL) announces that on 23 September 2006 it received a correction to the s. 198 disclosure given by Morgan Stanley Securities Limited ("MSSL"), which was announced on 7 September. MSSL advised that their previous disclosure concerning Trade Date 4 September 2006, whereby MSSL acquired an interest in the shares that resulted in the holding a total of 22,336,286 shares, being approximately 10.99% of the issued share capital of the Company, was in error and that the correct Trade Date for this transaction was 01 September 2006.
