Oriel Resources plc (“Company”) (AIM:ORI, TSX:ORL), announces today that options over ordinary shares of 1p each in the capital of the Company under the Company’s share option scheme have been exercised.

Details of the options exercised are as follows:

Accordingly, application will be made for 166.667 ordinary shares of 1p in the Company, which will rank pari passu with existing ordinary shares, to be admitted to trading on AIM. The admission is expected to occur on July 14 2006.
